WHAT IT IS
A keratin treatment is a professional hair-smoothing service designed to reduce visible frizz, improve shine and make day-to-day styling more manageable.
Your stylist applies a professional smoothing formula, then uses controlled heat according to the product system and your hair assessment. It is a cosmetic service—not a permanent change to the way your hair grows.
THE RESULT
Results vary by formula and starting texture, but the service is selected to improve the way your hair looks, feels and behaves.
A smoother surface and fewer flyaways in humid or changeable weather.
Less effort during blow-drying and a more predictable styling routine.
A polished surface reflects light more evenly for healthy-looking gloss.
A refined finish tailored to your preferred level of smoothness—not a rigid, flat result.
SMOOTHNESS · SHINE · MOVEMENT
Your preferred finish starts the conversation. We tailor the service to your hair, its condition and your everyday routine.

A CONSIDERED SERVICE
“The best keratin result is not simply the straightest. It is the one that makes your hair feel easier to live with.”

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE
Treatment names can vary between brands and salons. The exact product, ingredients and desired finish matter more than the label alone.
Chosen to reduce frizz and improve manageability with a smoother, polished finish.
Intensive conditioning focused on softness, shine and the feel of dry or porous hair.
A targeted treatment selected when compromised hair needs support—not a smoothing shortcut.
A separate smoothing or straightening category that can create a stronger texture change.
YOUR APPOINTMENT
We review texture, density, porosity, scalp comfort, chemical history and your desired level of smoothness.
The hair is cleansed and prepared according to the instructions for the selected professional system.
The formula is applied in controlled sections with attention to saturation, condition and safe product use.
Heat and tension are adjusted to the product protocol and your hair—not applied as one universal setting.
We show you the result and explain the washing, styling and home-care instructions for your exact service.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Keratin can be a strong choice for some hair and the wrong choice for others. A consultation is the safest way to decide.
PRODUCT TRANSPARENCY
Hair-smoothing formulas are not all the same. Some products may contain or release formaldehyde-related ingredients when heated, while others do not.
Before your service, ask which exact product will be used and whether its ingredient information or Safety Data Sheet is available. If you have asthma, sensitivities, allergies, scalp irritation, are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak with your healthcare professional and tell the salon before booking.
This is general cosmetic-service information, not medical advice.
AFTERCARE
Different professional systems have different instructions. Follow the timing given by your stylist.
Choose salon-advised products suited to the exact keratin formula and your scalp needs.
Frequent clarifying, salt water, chlorine and high heat can shorten the look of the result.
Condition regularly and return for professional advice before repeating any chemical service.
KERATIN FAQ
Not necessarily. Keratin is primarily a smoothing and frizz-control service. The final texture depends on your starting pattern, formula, technique and desired result; it should not be presented as permanent straightening.
Longevity varies with the professional system, hair condition, washing frequency, swimming, heat styling and home care. We give a personalised expectation after assessing your hair.
It may be suitable, but lightened, coloured or fragile hair needs an in-person assessment first. We may adjust the service, recommend another treatment or postpone it if the hair cannot safely support the process.
Timing depends on the colour service and keratin system. Please tell us about your colour plans before booking so we can sequence the appointments correctly.
Formulas differ. Not all smoothing products contain formaldehyde, but some may contain or release formaldehyde-related ingredients when heated. Ask about the exact product, ingredient information and Safety Data Sheet.
We do not provide medical clearance. Speak with your healthcare professional first and contact the salon before booking so the product and salon process can be discussed.
There is no universal answer: some systems allow an earlier wash and others require a waiting period. Follow the instructions provided for the exact formula used.
Your stylist will recommend cleansing and conditioning products compatible with the keratin system and your scalp. Avoid choosing aftercare from a generic rule alone.
Professional assessment, correct product use and controlled heat matter. Overlapping chemical services or using excessive heat on fragile hair can increase risk, which is why your history and condition are reviewed first.
Choose based on your goal. Keratin is usually considered for smoothing and manageability; Hair Botox is primarily chosen for intensive conditioning, softness and shine with less intended texture change.
